Logistics and Supply Chain Executive
Our Client is one of the leading manufacturing companies which is located in Horana
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a supply chain division’s import/export department
- A certificate, degree,or equivalent education in logistics or supply chain.
- strong analytical abilities Effective english communication abilities
- Proficient with the MS Office suite particularly excel and familiarity with an ERP system
- Effective english communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to make sure all shipments are arranged and delivered to relevant parties on time and maintain record sheets for easy reference.
- make sure timely receipt and submission of documents for all freight clearance.
- manage all administrative matters of freights, Customers BOI SLSI and other local authorities including payment arrangements Ensure that updates are shared with internal stakeholders on inbound shipments
- Obtaining approvals on selling process damages/scrap and arranging required payments
- supporting for GRIR process with close follow-up with warehouse team on reconciliations
